Chinchillas are           [1]           pets for those that like to own unique pets.           [2]          , if you have ever           [3]           one, they are actually           [4]          . One may describe this animal as looking similar to a/an           [5]           squirrel with big           [6]           or having a           [7]          `s body with large mouse-like           [6]           and a squirrel`s           [8]          . They come in several colors, ranging from white to           [9]           velvet. Like squirrels they eat with their           [10]          , and sure are nocturnal. One of the most unique           [11]           of Chinchillas is that they bathe in dust or           [12]          , rather than water.

The Natural habitat of Chinchillas is in South America, more           [13]           in the           [14]           of Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, and           [15]           in the           [16]           altitudes of the Andes Mountains. They live in crevices between           [17]           and caves. They are very social and live in colonies of about           [18]          . They live in these groups for added protection from           [19]                     [20]           such as owls, foxes,           [21]          , hawks, and other night           [21]          . Chinchillas have several           [22]           mechanisms to survive in the Andes Mountain region. First, their light color resembles that of the           [18]           to protect themselves from           [21]          . Second, their           [9]           is stiff and           [23]           and serves as balance when they jump and make           [24]                     [25]          . Chinchillas also use their hind           [26]           to jump great           [27]          . Since their coats are           [28]          , it allows for survival in harsh cold weather, and           [29]           of infestation from fleas and other parasites. Their fur is           [30]           into the eyes and           [31]           of the           [32]           as well, giving them enough time to           [33]           while their enemies stop to           [34]           the fur from their face.
