1) Write the base for your Mad:)Take. You could use a story, a description of a movie,
a summary of a book, or even a recipe. Really you can use whatever you want, as long as it is
not copyrighted. Show Example
2) Go back through the base you wrote and select words that you think would be amusing
to be replaced with other words. Show Example
3) Now replace all of the words you've selected with labels describing what kind of
word it is. For example, Harry is a
[boy's name], Arts is a
[noun (plural)], and destroying
is a [verb ending in "ing"].
Show Example
4) If you need to use the same word in more than one place, you can mark that by adding a
"::marker" to the end of the label. For example, this
story uses the word Chess twice, and I want to use the label
[game] for them; to use it twice, I just make it
[game::chess] in both locations. I could make it
[game::21] if I want to, or many other things, just as long as it
is identical in both places. You can reuse a word as often as you need to (as long as the label is
identical in all places), and reuse as many words as you need to (as long as they all have unique labels).
Show Example
5) Once you have replaced all the words you wanted to, you're done! You probably will want to use
the preview option to test your Mad:)Take and make sure your glib works well. Show Final Glib
